Coverage
Basic — A summary overview that comments on story, character, structure and visual potential. The cost is $300 + applicable taxes. If you are in a big rush and need it done in two to three days we charge $350 + applicable taxes.
Expanded — Summary comments on all major elements of screenplay including concept, theme, plot, character, conflict, structure and dialogue. The cost is $400 + applicable taxes. The rush fee is $450 + applicable taxes.
** Coverage by Storyworks Associates is charged at the above rate. All coverage by Elke Town is charged at the rate of $500.
Story Consultation & Notes
Storyworks can be retained to meet with you or to give you detailed story notes. Single consultation meetings start at $500 + applicable taxes and story notes are usually $700 + applicable taxes.
Story Editing
Costs vary according to the complexity and specific demands of the project. Generally, a single phase of development costs between $3,000 to $5,000 + applicable taxes.
In addition to working on screenplays, Storyworks can help give narrative shape to documentaries and proposals for series. We can also look at rough and fine cuts and give you editorial notes. Rates range from $400 to $600 a day.
Workshops
Storyworks offers workshops in feature film screenwriting, in script analysis and story editing, and can tailor the workshops to suit your needs. Fees are based on the number of classes or sessions and the number of participants.
